CAN YOU MAKE CUSTOMISED PIECES ON REQUEST?
Absolutely! I'm only too happy to talk to you about any requests you might have. Be that for a bespoke piece of furniture, a particular gift, a garden building or just a specific design or colour scheme for something.
HOW LONG WILL IT BE BEFORE MY CUSTOMISED PRODUCT IS READY?
Production time for bespoke requests will vary depending on the nature of the request, the materials involved and the complexity of the piece. I will be able to advise you more accurately once we have discussed your requirements and will always ensure you are happy with estimates before starting any new project
ARE YOUR RESIN BOARDS FOOD SAFE?
Yes indeed! All products used to create my serving and charcuterie resin boards are food safe and non toxic.
DOES RESIN SCRATCH?
Resin is very resilient and if treated well will look immaculate for many years. However, like all things, if it's abused it will start to show it. Excessive knife marks and scratches, can usually be refinished and polished out in the same way wood can also be rejuvenated with a light sanding. Even larger, more comprehensive repairs can be undertaken if the worst happens and things are in need of a bit more help
HOW SHOULD I LOOK AFTER MY SERVING BOARD?
Before I finish any wood and resin project, the final stage is to apply a food safe finishing oil to protect and enhance the product. Wood is a natural product and over time, after regular use and cleaning, you may find that your board will really benefit from a new coat of food safe oil to keep it looking as good as new.
