THE OAKY BLOKEY STORY

How it started

I have always loved woodwork and carpentry. I remember being in my Grandad's workshop as a young whippersnapper, fascinated by watching him work; enthralled by the noise of the machines, the smell of the sawdust and the somewhat unusual names of the tools (anyone seen my "Bastard file"..?) 

How it's going

35 years later (I don't like to rush into things) I chose to turn my passion into a profession; and so in 2020 The Oaky Blokey was born.

And now I find myself in my own workshop doing my best as a carpenter to emulate my Grandad and lovingly create impeccable quality pieces for you to enjoy.
